The SKIF Adventure II knife is the new generation of one of the best models in the 400th series. The shape and purpose of the knife remained unchanged ? this is the same EDC for all occasions, applicable, however, in tourism and other outdoor activities. The new 9Cr18MoV steel with a large amount of carbon and chromium became somewhat harder and more resistant to corrosion than the 8Cr13MoV predecessor. Direct descents start from 1/3 of the butt, on its upper part there is a false edge and a notch. Thus, the knife is able to demonstrate good stitching and cutting qualities. There is a choyle on the blade, which greatly improves knife control during delicate cutting. Stonewash blade processing will protect the knife from minor scratches or scuffs that periodically occur with frequent use.
The knife opens with a peg and flipper, creating a kind of emphasis for the hand, which is useful during a power puncture. Thanks to the ball bearing system, the blade exit is smooth and does not require significant force when opening. The lock is an invariable Frame-Lock, by the way ? one of the most reliable locks among folding knives.
A distinctive feature of the new generation of these knives is the presence of a sub-finger notch not only on the butt and handle, but also on the flipper and lock plate.
The handle is made of material G10, perfectly lies even in a wet hand or gloves. There is a clip, which, if necessary, can be removed and used by a lanyard, under which a hole is provided. In general, the new generation of the Adventure knife provides a fresh look at the time-tested classic.
